Unity Rewards Terms & Condition

Effective Date: February 12th, 2026

1. Introduction

(a) These Terms and Conditions (“Program Rules”) govern the Unity Rewards loyalty program operated by United Nigeria Airlines (“The Airline”).

(b) By enrolling in Unity Rewards, you agree to these Rules and our general Conditions of Carriage and Privacy Policy.

2. Membership

• Eligibility: Membership is free and open to individuals aged 18 years and above.
• Individual Use: Accounts are for individual persons only. Corporations or other entities must use the dedicated Corporate Account program.
• One Account: Each member may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts will be merged or deleted.

3. Earning Points

(a) Fare Rule: Reward Points and Tier Points are awarded based on the Quoted Fare.
(b) Tier points Earning: Tier points are earned at a rate of 1 Tier point for every N100 spent on eligible fares.
(c) Exclusions: Points are NOT awarded on:

• Government Taxes, Levies, and Surcharges.
• Service fees, insurance, or ancillary purchases
• Staff travel, rebate tickets, or barter tickets.

(d) Timing: Points will be credited to your account within 48 hours after the flight is flown (not booked).
(e) Welcome Bonus: The 2,000 Point Welcome Bonus is credited automatically upon completion of your first flight after registration.

4. Redeeming Points

• Fare Only: Points can be redeemed to cover the Fare of eligible tickets.
• Cash Requirement: All Government Taxes, Airport Levies, and card Fees must be paid in Cash (or Credit/Debit Card) at the time of redemption.
• Redemption Caps: The percentage of the Fare redeemable with points is a maximum of 70%.
• Finality: Once points are redeemed for a ticket, they are non-refundable except as provided in the Airline’s refund policy.

5. Tier Status

• Qualification: Tier status is determined by the number of Tier Points earned within a calendar year (Jan 1 – Dec 31).
• Reset: Tier Points reset to zero on January 1st of each year.
• Benefits: Benefits (e.g., Lounge Access for Diamond only on Accra route) are subject to availability and operational constraints. The Airline reserves the right to substitute benefits.

6. Expiration & Cancellation

(a) Expiration: Reward Points will expire if a Member’s account remains inactive (no earning or redemption activity) for a period of 24 consecutive months.
(b) Right to Terminate: The Airline reserves the right to terminate a Membership and forfeit all accrued points if the Member:
Violates these Terms.

• Engages in fraud, misrepresentation, or abuse of the program.
• Behaves in an abusive manner toward Airline staff.

7. Program Changes

• Modification: United Nigeria Airlines reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Unity Rewards program, including point values, redemption charts, and tier levels, at any time with or without notice.
• No Cash Value: Points are a marketing currency and have no monetary value until redeemed. They cannot be sold, bartered, or transferred (except as explicitly allowed by the program).

8. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from the Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
