To manage your membership and tier status, we collect necessary personal information, including your Full Name, Date of Birth, Passport Number, Contact Details, and Flight History. Providing this data is voluntary; however, refusal may prevent us from crediting points or awarding tier benefits.Lawful Basis for Processing
We process your personal data in accordance with the NigeriaData Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 on the following lawful basis:- Performance of a Contract: where processing is necessary to administer your Unity Rewards membership, manage tier benefits, and deliver rewards and related services.
- Legitimate Interests: where processing is necessary to improve our services, prevent fraud, ensure network and information security, and enhance customer experience, provided such interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- International Data Transfer: Where your personal data is transferred outside Nigeria, including to service providers located in the United Kingdom or the United States, such transfers shall be conducted in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms, to protect your personal data.
