Mazi Ositadinma Okonkwo’s primary responsibilities include making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of United Nigeria Airlines, and acting as the main point of communication between the Board of Directors and corporate operations. In addition to his role as the Executive Director, Mazi Okonkwo plans and supervises the day-to-day financial and operational functions of United Nigeria.

Mazi Okonkwo has over 30 years of active and direct involvement and experience in top leadership and executive management positions, financial management, real estate development, investments and management as well as project management in Nigeria and many countries in Africa.

Prior to joining United Nigeria Airlines, Mazi Okonkwo worked as Development Director at CAPIC Fund (African Capital Alliance Real Estate Fund) Lagos, Executive Director and Managing Director Acorn Project Managers (Acorn Group) and Acting Managing Director Shelter Afrique, both in Nairobi, Kenya. Mazi Okonkwo graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA –Finance) from the United States International University-Africa, San Diego, USA and bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
